Despite a long, wet season, winter oilseed rape is now into its stem elongation growth stage. As temperatures have begun to warm, OSR’s leaf development comes to an end and it enters a phase of rapid growth. This is another high stress period for the crop, with extra support often required to facilitate stem growth and combat increased risk of pest attacks.
